What is a CHT?

A Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) is an occupational therapist or physical therapist who has a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, including 4,000 hours or more in advanced clinical practice in hand therapy. Because of the intricate anatomy of the arm and hand, it frequently requires very delicate surgery, often with microscopic techniques. Hand surgeons prefer board-certified hand therapists working with their patients especially with post-operative therapy.
